Cloud Services Overview
Software as a Service and cloud based services in general are becoming a larger and more material part of the entire IT industry. Many enterprises are now recognising the value of incorporating managed cloud offerings into their IT environments.
The range of adoption is varied, from a few simple line-of-business applications that run independently of other business processes through to complex, interdependent and integrated deployments.
The most common candidates for cloud service adoption however, focus on collaboration and business productivity applications and are delivered as point solutions. Many of the large software vendors already have suites of SaaS offerings in this space and are pushing hard for enterprise adoption. However, while these offerings are appropriate in many cases they are not a perfect fit for some organisations.
Trustmarque's acquisition of Nimbus Technology Systems is in response to this and to feedback from customers. It has allowed us to add breadth and depth of expertise in cloud delivery and a range of cloud services that address core collaboration requirements like E-mail delivery and content sharing.
As a result we can now offer secure, resilient, robust, enterprise class hosted Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint services as well as advice, planning and migration services.
